After The End of the Fucking World, EDGES – the band led by guitarist Guillaume Vierset – returns with a second album that continues to shake up the rules. With nonchalance and bitter irony, EDGES offers a sharp, critical view of today’s society.
Morning Mr. Protocol immerses us in a chaotic universe, swaying between glitter and violence, delivering a rebellious, carefree jazz-rock-punk sound that rejects conventions. Twelve tracks where jazz improvisation and rock music coexist ambiguously, in a way not seen since the 1970s.
EDGES is definitely not a band to be categorized: neither jazz, nor rock, nor punk, nor pop – it’s above all a sound, a vibe, best experienced live!
